Electrochemical 101: Hydrogen Balloons
So, how are hydrogen balloons made and ballasted? What can these be used for and can they be steered enough to make them usable. This is super simple low cost tech, that just requires ballasting.
Now that ChinaCCP PLA Adversarial AI BCPS has been neutralized and getting degraded from my mind and body. I’m looking into simple use cases to get back into the air. Prior to getting shot up in 2022, was taking flying lessons. Now, I’m looking at simple low tech drone solutions with guidance systems for various use cases. One such use case, is loitering for photography, site security and entertainment when combined with consumable signals assets.
There are several articles on low cost balloons that require hydrogen gas. The simplest way to make hydrogen gas is through an electrolyzer, which I’ve built and own a couple.
Basic Balloon, all local controls, the systems on such a balloon are as follows:
Bag to hold the hydrogen gas without leaking too muck for a given flight time and duration.
Ballast system for elevation ascent and descent.
Purge gas system for rapid descent.
Steering (guidance) system for maneuvering, where said system is suspended below the balloon to keep it simple and utilize gravity. This requires open loop tuning to calibrate (SIM on computer first) and then some basic flight tests.
Controls DC based and power system for steering that consumes the hydrogen gas in combination with a DC solar panel on balloon. Upon winds picking up (pre) have the balloon redock itself.
Smart phone (used) as controller is one option, after prototyping with a basic arduino and raspberry pi system.
The dirt cheap approach would be to use used smart phones with usb interfaces and then just run the app local on android O/S or graphene O/S.
AI system local to run the balloon without use of GPS, based upon the camera taking photographs of the ground. Super simple cheap CMOS system.

Advanced Balloon, electronically powered by a new physics energetics drive, the systems on a such a balloon are as follows:
Bag (that interacts with EMF spectrum for electronic steering at a distance) to hold the hydrogen gas without leaking too muck for a given flight time and duration.
Ballast system for elevation ascent and descent.
Purge gas system for rapid descent.
Steering (guidance) system for maneuvering, where said system is suspended below the balloon to keep it simple and utilize gravity. This requires open loop tuning to calibrate (SIM on computer first) and then some basic flight tests.
Controls DC based power system on board based upon new physics (energetics field of discipline) with electrodes pulling energy from “the vacuum” into 3D space and time domain that can be utilized for thermal (e.g. resistor after energy pulled from the vacuum) and power system. Upon winds picking up (pre) have the balloon re-dock itself.

The concept is to have a dirt cheap perimeter safety and security system, similar to what Cyphy built with their tethered drones back in 2012/2014 time period, but not tethered. These balloons can also be used for marketing purposes for any interested businesses on here that run across this publication.
Based upon all of my research, this is the simplest and lowest cost system to get into the air, without a short flight time.
I’ll continue to expand and build upon this brief with a DIY kit option.
